Ahar (also called muqahar) paper is sized by centuries old technique of coating the paper with starch and mixture of alum and egg white. After drying it is burnished making the surface very smooth which ensures easy glide of the pen and prevents ink bleeding.
The screen resolution settings might cause the colour to look slightly different than the actual paper.
