Welcome to Arcalliq

My name is Katarina, Slovak, living in UK, with keen interest in the Arab world. I joined my very first Arabic calligraphy class in 2017 and I did so purely out of curiosity. Always believing in not having a single artistic molecule in my body, I gave myself 3 lessons before I was sure I would drop out. Instead, I fell in love.

I soon realised, finding tools for Arabic calligraphy was not easy. Frustrated, I started to search and found some incredibly talented, dedicated and professional craftsmen and calligraphers in Indonesia, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other countries who create these magnificent tools that have now travelled to over 60 countries across all continents.
