Reed qalam pens are made from river reeds, one of the oldest materials used to make calligraphy pens. The lengthy curing process of the reeds ensures they are very supple and easy to cut making them a pen of choice even for present day masters of Arabic calligraphy.
Stated price is for one reed only and the reed is neither open nor cut.
Each reed is decorated with beautiful circular pattern and is approximately 21 cm long. The reeds differ slightly in diameter and when ordered, random reed will be sent.
