Believed to be developed by Turkish calligrapher Aref Hekmat this relatively new script was not used widely but it is experiencing a revival.
The book presents isolated letter forms and their stroke break down. This is followed by letter combinations, simple words and sentences.
There is limited space for practicing in this book and extra paper will be needed.
Though the workbook is in Arabic it can be easily followed by non-Arabic speakers.
It is made from 130 gsm semigloss paper with low porosity enabling pen to glide easily and without bleeding.
