This highly popular type of pen is relatively new in the world of Arabic calligraphy. It was introduced by Javanese pilgrims to Mecca in the beginning of 19th century and quickly gained reputation for its ability to retain sharpness even after prolonged use.
Pens are available with nib sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 mm. Nibs are set into elegant, black & copper coloured wooden handles.
