This reed pen has been prepared specifically for Naskh script and other small lettering.

The nib is between 1 mm wide and the reeds are between 24 - 30 mm long.

Reed qalam pens are made from river reeds, one of the oldest materials used to make calligraphy pens. The lengthy curing process of the reeds ensures they are very supple and easy to cut making them a pen of choice even for present day masters of Arabic calligraphy.
